Impressions WT show at ISPO 2014

Wearable Technologies was very thrilled at ISPO 2014 in Munich for another year in a row. The record-breaking event counted 2.565 exhibitors and more than 80.000 visitors from 110 different countries.

Again several superb companies joined our WT show to present their latest products at our booth.

Fitbit showed their wide range of activity trackers like Fitbit Flex, Fitbit One and Fitbit Zip. The products were demoed by famous German dance coach Detlev D! Soost and the company also won an ISPO award for their Fitbit Force product.

PulseOn revealed a watch that can track the wearers heart rate directly from the wrist with the help of optical sensors.

Several interesting products were showcased by Medisana, amongst others the VitaDock ® system, that consists of a free application as well as the appropriate measuring modules for reading and managing vital data together with your iPhone® , iPod touch®, or iPad®. The company also showed the MIO Alpha, a pulse watch measuring your heart rate directly from your wrist during workout and the Vifit, an activity tracker to track calories burned, steps and sleep quality.

SenseCore showed their solution currently focusses on elite athletes. The company’s technology is able to capture high quality physical data including ECG, body temperature and real respiration, all in one tiny sensor which can be clipped into fine compression garments.

AiQ Smart Clothing presented the BioMan™, a continuous vital sign monitoring solution mixed with fashion and style. Besides that, the company also offers heating, lighting and other customized textile based solutions.

4iiii presented their heads up display which provides performance feedback in your field of vision and works together with other 4iiii modules you can wear on your body. Furthermore they presented a completely new wristband approach. Stay tuned. WT will soon report on it.

Last but not least we featured another winner of the ISPO award for best action product. ICEdot, an emergency identification and notification system that can detect an impact and notify your emergency contacts. A whole new approach to adventure but responsibly!
