April Fool’s day is finally here! April 2014 already offered quite a number of hilarious wearables but this year’s pranks are even better:
PlayStation Flow is taking games from the living room into a swimming pool. For getting more realistic experience this device combines real time swimming with playing video games. You attach sensor on you biceps and thighs which allows you to track your movement in the water as well as on dry land. The information is sent to PS4 via Remote Play. But see yourself:
JoyTunes is one of the most popular apps for teaching children to play instruments and have fun at the same time. You gave up playing a piano when you were little? No worries, there’s still time to become the best pianist out there. The new magic JoyTunes Glove will allow the most talentless person play the most beautiful music pieces ever written:
SleepBit is a wrist band device that can help you track your vital signs and dreams. The developers claim dreams are the key for finding out what consumer really want. And with the new dream analysis by SleepBit advertisers can now know what you want before you know it yourself! Fantastic!
McLaren announced a wearable tech project for the Formula 1: a fire proof sarong. Obviously we think it is a great idea and also feel it would look great on the drivers. The company also has plans to make a traditional kimono-style anti-precipitation jacket for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, titanium-plated cowboy spurs for the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, and a revolutionary uncured soft-weave carbonfibre sombrero, to be introduced for the resurrected Mexican Grand Prix later this year. Looking out for those already!!!
We just love April Fool’s day here at WT!
