However, the glasses use bio-sensing tech to detect changes in eyes and body movement to track and alert on safety, health and fitness. Based on the EOG electrodes built into the frames, it can detect blinks and eye movement in eight directions. Besides, the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors along the earpiece monitor body axis and walking pattern to improve posture. Moreover, it has the ability to track tiredness and alert drivers who may fall asleep while driving.
LaForge
LaForge joined the smart glasses market with Shima. Shima is a stylish and unobstructed eyewear that actually considers how humans will interact with it. Shima looks like a nice pair of eyeglasses on their own, nevertheless, it can access to a robust heads-up display (HUD) that provides wearers with notifications, music controls, fitness and driving data and more. It also provides navigation when walking and driving as well as tracking your exercises. The smart eyewear automatically detects the rate at which you’re moving and activates the appropriate software accordingly.
