However, according to a rumor, the South Korean electronics company may also announce a new smartwatch, the LG Watch W7, at its October event. A tweet from noted tipster Evan Blass says the product will launch next week.

The device, which first surfaced back in April, was referred to as LG Watch Timepiece. Unlike the company’s other smartwatches, this one is hybrid, which means it combines mechanical hands with a full round color touchscreen.
Android Headlines exclusive report states that the watch will boast a 1.2-inch, 390 x 390 pixel touchscreen display and will run by Wear OS. The measurement will be 45 x 45 x 12.9mm, making it a bit chunky, reports Gadgets & Wearables.

The LG Watch W7 will also boast a nine-axis motion sensor, water-resistant stainless steel body, 768 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, 240 mAh battery, and hybrid functionality combining analog and digital functionalities.
The needles in the dial will have quartz movement to show the precise time. They can also be used for measuring altitude, barometric pressure, compass and they will work as a stopwatch as well.

The watch-hand combination increases the battery life of a watch. For example, when the battery for the smart functionalities runs out, the battery will keep the analog part of the watch going for another 100 hours.
The W7, according to rumor will arrive in colors like New Aurora Black and Cloud Silver and may cost around $250.
