The platform for new digital health solutions and health wearables will be the Digital Health Summit at the CES 2019.

This year’s medical trends at the CES will be AI-driven health solutions, wearables, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

Artificial Intelligence is being heavily utilized in health wearables. AI is promoting awareness in pregnant women, detecting fall in elderly, and AI-powered devices are helping to reduce hot flashes from chemo and menopause.

Samsung C-Lab will reveal eight new AI projects at CES 2019.

Although Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality started out as a medium to enhance consumer devices, they are slowly finding their way into healthcare. AR/VR is helping surgeons perform delicate surgery, keeping autistic children company and helping patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.
