The integrated thermal imaging solution for health monitoring combines the lightweight and ergonomically designed Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses with Librestream’s Onsight platform, including the ruggedized Cube industrial wearable camera, to display the real-time thermal video feed directly on the heads-up display of the M400. The solution brings hands-free collaboration and thermal imaging to near any environment, says a press release.

Potential users include first responders, medical screeners, and border security guards, backed by global medical experts or other officials. Heat maps provided by the scanner will enable health workers to quickly detect body temperatures in excess of specific thresholds, as well as other heat flare-ups or reductions.

Using the Onsight AR platform, frontline workers can also share these visuals with global medical experts who can remotely view and control the thermal output. These experts can adjust lighting, zoom, and capture HD video and thermal images, providing first responders and medical staff with critical real-time diagnostic information. Teams can also capture and securely store images and recordings or share in collaboration sessions.

“We are excited to work with the team at Vuzix to bring an innovative thermal imaging solution to frontline workers. The combination of Vuzix Smart Glasses and Onsight not only allows for hands-free operations but provides real-time thermal images and data to make time-sensitive assessments from a safe distance,” shared Charlie Neagoy, VP Business Development at Librestream.
